●Advanced technology required by every automakers

FUSERASHI has skillfully predicted the tide of Japanese motorization, and now does business with most of Japan's major automakers. Shimada says "FUSERASHI's approach is not to build based on the received drawing from the manufacturer, but to participate from the drawing stage. We would like to play the role of a solution provider, fulfilling our customers' needs while utilizing FUSERASHI's technology by proposing what we can do and how we can do it."

As a result, the company has established a unique position, recognized as "a must by Fuserashi" while at the same time satisfying the requirements of the manufacturers in Japan and outside Japan.

●Respond to each phase with diversity, without following precedents

As a CEO, Shimada has experienced global Lehman recession and flooding near the Thai factory shortly after its establishment. His goal is to offer a wide variety of products to meet diverse needs.

The company's most prominent items in its product lineup are forming parts for automobiles, and the proportion of parts for electric vehicles seems to be increasing. Although the company's response to the changing times and next-generation vehicles may seem to indicate a shift in focus, it is by no means a one-focused approach.

●A global company, that's why FUSERASHI insists on Japanese-made products

As a global company, FUSERASHI has built seamless and fair relationships with overseas bases, focusing on differentiating "Made in Japan" quality. Shimada says "The products made by our offshore factories are heavy and bulky. In Japan we want to specialize in products to convince customers that 'this quality is essential' for Japanese auto manufacturers, clearly differentiated in functionality and safety."

The mindset of "keep on going by one step ahead of others" is the starting point of FUSERASHI's manufacturing and its identity as a company.
