Description of business

Digic produces graphite molded packing for use in high-temperature, high-pressure environments, using graphite which is rarely used for packing in Japan. The company's graphite packing has a self-lubricating property, easily adapting to the insertion point, and it acts as a barrier against fluids. Since it has outstanding thermal resistance, it demonstrates excellent sealing properties even under rigorous high-temperature and high-pressure conditions, and so can be used across a wide range of areas, from high-temperature oil and gas to high-pressure steam and low-temperature fluids. During molding, since the graphite is compressed into molds by controlling compaction according to density, the company is able to produce packing of uniform expansibility and of any preferred size, including small-diameter, large-diameter and tapered. The company is able to complete products quickly because it has various sized molds on hand. It is even able to meet requests for single prototypes.
